acrylic- actually had to take it outside to get a decent picture..which caused me unexpected drama..."AHHHH shit...I CANT SEE!!" It's the best picture out of the lot and I had to be blind to do it. Daylight hours don't agree with me.

Daily DeviationUntitled 1 by *distortioncircus is a trully wicked work by a wicked artist. Its full of anger, angst, as well has this awesome movement and composition. It consumes the viewer, dragging them away from the light into the darkness. (Featured by `sbaraci)

thanks, I'm still going to add more detail to the top portion, wanted to see how it turned out once it was posted..and of course it's still not the same as looking at it firsthand...the black is still weak but that's the lighting. Still futzing with the camera :D
Oh yes the problems with trying to photograph paintings. I have been putting my smaller ones on the scanner and joining the bits up in photoshop. The sunlight always reflects off the black.

Exactly, in the house with the flash on, the colors are as they should be but the glare from the flash on the painting is too big to edit out with photoshop :ohnoes:
Its funny how it never reflects the light when scanned.

ehhh scanner does all kindsa other stuff, makes the colors look funny, brightens black and white ink too much (that's an easy fix via ps) and I would've stuffed it in the scanner but it's 15x20 and won't fit.
