The Other Place: Chapter TenThe first raindrops that hit the roof of the car fell softly, followed by an intense downpour that sounded like someone tipping bag upon bag of marbles onto the sheet of metal just inches above Johns head. The cacophony of noise startled him as he suddenly woke, and after taking the first few disorientating seconds to study his surroundings, he turned his attentions to the dull aching and throbbing inside his head.
